According to reports from Spanish media outlet Defensa Central on December 4th, Bayern has even “counter-offered” Kim Min-jae to Real Madrid, whose defensive line is currently experiencing instability.
Historic Opportunity for Korean Football
Should Kim Min-jae join Real Madrid, he would make history as the first Korean player to feature in the club’s first-team squad. While Kim Woo-hong previously played for Real Madrid’s youth team, no Korean has ever reached the senior level with Los Blancos. This potential move represents a significant milestone for Korean football.
Bayern’s Strategic Shift
The situation stems from a combination of factors.
