The agenda of the Royal House for next week has a marked political overtone. Felipe VI will have an audience – separately – at the Zarzuela Palace with five regional presidents and with the mayor of Madrid José Luis Martínez-Almeida.
On the same Monday, the king will receive Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid and the socialist Adrián Barbón, president of the Principality of Asturias. Queen Letizia, for her part, will go to A Coruña for the start of the school year.
On Thursday the political visits continue with the presence of the president of Cantabria María José Sáenz de Buruaga and the president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón. Added to them will be the audience, in the afternoon, of the king with José Luis Martínez-Almeida.
The parade of regional presidents before Felipe de Borbón ends on Friday with the king’s audience with Gonzalo Capellán, president of La Rioja.

That same day the king will also receive Oliver Zipse, president of the BMW group worldwide, and in the afternoon at the Royal Palace of El Pardo the ministers of economy and finance from Latin America and the Caribbean attending the CLXXIX meeting of the Board of Directors of the Development Bank of Latin America.
Her Majesty the Queen will conclude her agenda on the same Wednesday with the opening, in Asturias, of the professional training course.
