Thousands of civilians have already been killed and entire cities bombed as a result of Putin’s bloody war of aggression against Ukraine.
Also in the middle: the Klitschko brothers Wladimir and Vitali. They have been defending the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv against Putin’s troops since the beginning of the war.
BILD met the two in front of a destroyed block of flats in the capital. The Kremlin despot keeps claiming to attack only military targets. Wladimir Klitschko (45) on this: “The pictures speak louder than words. They are confirmation of who Putin’s army is fighting. It is a war against the Ukrainian people. It is civilian annihilation.”

► His dramatic appeal: “This senseless war must be stopped immediately!” It not only needs tough economic sanctions against Russia, but also more defensive weapons from the West. Because: “As we speak, more civilians are being killed. Ukrainians are being killed.”
You can hear explosions and attacks all the time in the city: “The front, the Russian army, is getting closer and closer.”
Regarding Germany’s ongoing energy imports from Russia, Klitschko said: “This money is being used for what we are seeing right now: for destruction, for weapons.” Losing track of how the world looks right now: there is a war on!”
