Former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s aide Poonkunran was interrogated in Coimbatore for the second day today at 9 am in connection with the Kodanad murder and robbery case.
The trial in the Kodanad murder and robbery case has intensified since August last year. More than two hundred people have been questioned in the last 10 days at the office of the former MLA Arukutty and their relatives at the office of the Coimbatore Police Training School. Troops led by Western Region IG Sudhakar conducted the investigation. AIADMK leader Anupav Ravi was questioned following the incident.
Following him, Sajeevan, who was in charge of the AIADMK’s trade team and worked as a carpenter in a Kodanad bungalow, was interrogated.
