Bengaluru beat Delhi Capitals to win the title on Sunday (March 17). Batting first in the match, Delhi’s collection stood at 113 runs in 18.3 overs. Chasing this run, Bangalore reached the target with 3 balls and 8 wickets in hand.

Delhi opener Shefali Varna got off to a flying start after winning the toss. It looked like there would be a big run. Delhi picked up 64 runs in 7 overs. Sophie Molyneux came to bowl in the eighth over. The game turned in that over. Shefali was out on the first ball. Jemima Rodriguez is out in the third ball. Ellis Capsey bowled the fourth ball.

Basically, Delhi lost three wickets in one over and practically fell out of the match. Philly couldn’t turn around from there. Then they started losing wickets at regular intervals. In between, Radha Yadav scored 12 runs and Arundhati Reddy scored 10 runs. They can reach 113 runs in 18.3 overs.

Shreyanka Patil took 4 wickets for Bangalore. Sophie Molyneux took 3 wickets. Asha Sovana took 2 wickets.

Bengaluru started well in the run chase. Captain Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine scored 49 runs in the opening pair. Even if these two are out, RCB is not in much danger. Alyssa Perry and Richa Ghosh combined to bring the team to victory. Perry was unbeaten on 35 and Ghosh on 17.
