A shocking incident of a six-year-old girl being abducted has taken place in Kollam. The abductors have demanded a ransom from the child’s mother in exchange for her safe return.
The child, Abhikel Sara, was reportedly abducted near Oyur Maruthamanpalli while she was on her way to tuition classes with her eight-year-old brother. The brother also mentioned that he was also attempted to be kidnapped and dragged. The family immediately informed the police about the incident.
The mother of the child received a phone call from the abductors demanding a ransom of 5 lakhs in exchange for the safe return of her daughter. The relatives of the child have informed the media about this shocking development.
MLA Ganesh Kumar has mentioned that there is a clue about the vehicle used by the kidnappers and the police are conducting a wide-scale investigation across the state. The police are also verifying the authenticity of the phone call to the child’s mother, and are looking into mobile tower data to track down the abductors.
