Jeddah: Saudi Arabia recorded 1,376 new Kovid patients and 2,596 cures. This brings the total number of Kovid cases reported in the country so far to 7,37,334 and the number of cases to 7,07,492. All three deaths were newly reported.
This brings the total death toll in the country to 8,981. Currently, 20,861 people are being treated for the disease. Of these, 933 are in critical condition. They are in the intensive care unit of various hospitals across the country. The condition of the rest is satisfactory.
The covid release rate in the country is 95.95 per cent and the mortality rate is 1.21 per cent. Number of newly reported cases in major cities of the country: Riyadh 391, Dammam 105, Jeddah 91, Jizan 53, Makkah 48, Madinah 46, Abha 41. So far 6,00,26,981 Doskovid vaccine has been distributed in Saudi Arabia. Of these, 2,58,35,592 were the first dose, 2,40,24,474 the second dose and 1,01,66,915 the booster dose.
