During the Kovid period It was found that 14.71 lakh people had returned to Kerala. B.A. The CDS study group is led by Prakash. Of these, 77 percent returned. 3.32 lakh people could not return. Their families are in dire financial straits and in debt. The expatriates staying in Kerala are planning to return somehow. This is due to the lack of regular employment and better income here. The study also points out that the situation needs to be prepared for those who are ready to return and those who are ready to return. But are there systems in place in Kerala to help with that?
