Jeddah: Concern over rising Kovid cases in Saudi Arabia. On Wednesday, 88 new cases were confirmed. 76 cures were also reported. The total number of Kovid cases reported in the country so far is 550,457 and the number of cases is 539,712.
A new death was reported by Kovid. This brings the total death toll to 8,857. 1888 are currently in treatment. Of these, 34 are in critical condition. They are in the intensive care unit of various hospitals across the country. The condition of the rest is satisfactory. The country’s covid release rate remains at 98 percent and the death rate at 1.6 percent.
Number of newly reported patients in different provinces: Riyadh 39, Jeddah 13, Makkah 7, Dammam 5, Madinah 4, Tabuk, Ta’if, Al Khobar, Hufuf, Al Rasou and Al Kharj 2 each and 8 other places each. So far 48,211,291 doses of the Doskovid vaccine have been distributed in Saudi Arabia. Of these, 24,823,506 were the first dose, 22,858,919 the second dose and 528,866 the booster dose.
