La Pegatina, El Pot Petit, Triquell and Ginestà they will go up to the stages of Inclusive Festival Inspira 2023 which organizes the MAP Foundation It will be the September 30 in the Devesa del Pla de Ripoll and will also have quality productions starring people with functional diversity, such as the poetic and inclusive circus company Mur. The fourth edition will follow last year’s format. It will start at 11 in the morning and will last until 1 in the morning with a program that includes parallel activities for all ages such as musical vermouth, children’s area, awareness workshops and circus and live radio. The main innovation is the addition of age groups and the cost of entry, from 1 euro to 30 euros.
The schedule was announced this Monday. The organizers have explained that the objective is fill in the Devesa of the Planwith capacity for 5,000 people, to live again”a great celebration of values” with a family audience of all ages from all over Catalonia, including organizations in the field of disability.
The contest has the mission of break down barriers and put culture, music and performing arts accessible to everyone, also for those people who cannot access it due to some difficulty. At the same time, it wants to give visibility to disability by offering inclusive programming, with shows starring people with different abilities, guaranteeing an accessible space and an entrance with a reduced price intended to finance the festival itself.
In addition to promoting mobility, this year actions will also be implemented to reduce the impact of the festival on the environment. So there will be no plastics, they will be used ecological glasses and canteens and recycled material in the workshops and there will also be environmental agents who will inform and be in charge of keeping the spaces clean.
Changes with prices
This year the cost of tickets has been changed and will be based on age. This is how it will go d1 euro for children up to 3 years oldgoing for 10 euros from 4 to 15 years and up to 20 euros from 16 and up. Promotions and special prices are also planned for groups of entities from the third sector who wish to attend, as well as for groups in a situation of vulnerability. Tickets will go on sale from April 19 at 12 noon online, through the Codetickets platform, and also physically at the central Moda Re- de Ripoll store, managed by InserMAP and Cáritas Ripoll.
Throughout the year, the MAP Foundation and its users work on preparations for Inspira. The festival has the support of the Ripoll Festivals Committee, the Ripoll Town Council and other social entities, and this year also with the Department of Culture.
