La Voix Withdraws from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ following Injury

A tearful farewell marked teh end of La Voix’s journey on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ this weekend, as the drag queen and her partner, Aljaz Skorjanec, were forced to withdraw from the competition following medical advice. The announcement came during the annual Blackpool edition of the show, filmed live from the iconic Tower Ballroom on Saturday, November 22nd.

The news was delivered by hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, casting a shadow over the typically celebratory Blackpool weekend. La Voix, whose real name is Chris Dennis, had previously been given a reprieve from performing in Blackpool due to an injury, but it has now been resolute that she is unable to continue in the competition.

He continued, playfully noting, “Genuinely, I haven’t done a single crunch in the past four months, but I got my six pack back. It’s amazing.”

The professional dancer further elaborated on the deep connection forged with his partner. “We always said I made a friend for life, but I’ve been lucky this year as I feel like I made two friends,” Skorjanec said.
