Lack of staff, faulty equipment… the Alsatian RER fiasco, a month after its launch

No trains will run this Thursday on the European Metropolitan Express Network (REME) due to the day of mobilization for pensions. But the first RER network created outside the Paris region, in the agglomeration of Strasbourg, did not need this new strike to skate. A month after its launch, the SNCF, the Grand-Est region and the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg had to react.
