Next Friday, March 15th, the streaming platform Prime Video will premiere the documentary series ‘Senhor Presidente – O Campeonato de uma Vida’, which portrays the already extensive career of Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa .
In an exclusive clip, Desporto ao Minuto gives an account of the testimony given by the president of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, to the production, establishing a comparison between the challenges that he himself has to face and those that his FC Porto counterpart overcame, throughout the last many decades.
“We share many values. This rivalry between FC Porto and Benfica, and Barcelona and Real Madrid, which means suffering from the centralism of the country’s capital… This has always existed, and gives added value to how you preside over a club, the how do you deal with all the adversities you have to overcome to be champion…”, he stated.
