On the sidelines of this ceremony, chaired by the governor of the province of Larache, Bouassam El Alamine, the regional coordinator of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the reintegration of detainees in Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, Mohamed El Mkadmi, stressed that this operation, which is part of the agreement concluded between the Foundation and the Provincial Human Development Committee (CPDH) of the province of Larache, required a budget of more than 188,000 dirhams.

In a statement to MAP, Mr. El Mkadmi noted that this initiative is also part of the implementation of the integrated socio-professional reintegration strategy promoted by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the reintegration of prisoners, under the High patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, in order to help this category to easily integrate into the socio-economic fabric.

For his part, Mohamed Belhaj, former detainee, indicated that this support provided by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the reintegration of detainees reflects the high concern with which HM the King continues to surround vulnerable groups in general, and former detainees in in particular, by helping them integrate into their socio-economic environment, improve their income and create their own projects.

In this same vein, ex-inmate Mohamed El Berghaoui emphasized the importance of this initiative for former prisoners, since it allows them to exercise honorable professions and have a source of stable income to lead a decent life.

This initiative aims, according to its promoters, to enable beneficiaries to become actively involved in society, and to contribute to the dissemination of the values of solidarity and cohesion, noting that these projects concern the craft and services.
