Las Vegas Market Opens Amidst Storm Concerns, Showcasing New Designs in Rugs, Art & Wallcoverings
Teh Las Vegas Market officially opened its doors today, January 26th, as exhibitors finalized preparations for the week-long event. However, a significant winter storm impacting much of the United States has raised concerns about potential attendance levels.
The market is showcasing a diverse range of new products, with several companies unveiling their latest collections. Feizy Rugs is introducing four distinct lines: the brightly colored, Indian-made Tula collection; the hand-tufted Kendall collection, featuring a palette of blues, greens, and neutrals; the Turkish-made Melrose collection, boasting stain- and water-resistant properties with transitional floral designs in blues and taupe, inspired by the Southwest; and the hand-knotted springfield collection, drawing inspiration from classic Persian motifs.
“At Loloi, we strive to have a breath of offerings including hand-woven, hand-knotted and machine-made, so no matter who you are, you can find a beautiful rug for your home,” a company spokesperson stated. Loloi is also debuting new collections, including the hand-knotted Nara collection crafted from wool in India and available in seven colorways, and the power-loomed Milana collection made of polyester and offered in nine colorways.
Beyond rugs, Leftbank Art is presenting a new showroom layout featuring art displayed in curated room vignettes, allowing visitors to visualize pieces within a home setting. The company is also showcasing new works from artists Nikki Chu and Justin Q Williams. Expanding its offerings, Leftbank art has ventured into wallcoverings utilizing materials like suede, matte, and pearl finishes.
