A man was found dead Tuesday evening following a shooting at a business in the vicinity of Las Vegas’ Arts District. Authorities are currently searching for a suspect in connection with the incident, which occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the 200 block of W Utah Avenue.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the events unfolded when a man went to check on a friend after being unable to reach him. Upon arrival at the business where his friend worked, he discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He immediately contacted 911.
Officers from the Downtown Area Command swiftly responded to the scene and provided immediate medical assistance until paramedics arrived. Despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
