The last T20 match between India and South Africa was abandoned due to rain and the T20 series ended in a 2-2 draw.

South Africa won the first two matches of the 5 T20 series between India and South Africa and India won the next two matches.

The series ended in a 2-2 draw and the final T20 match of the series was played in Bangalore today. The toss was made at 6.30 p.m. The match, which was supposed to start at 7pm, started 50 minutes late due to rain.

South Africa won the toss and elected to field, but were bowled out for 28 in 3.3 overs.

Waited until 9.50pm and watched. But the game was announced to be abandoned as the rain did not stop. The T20 series ended in a 2-2 draw. So both teams have shared the trophy.

The South African team thus holds the record of never losing a T20 series on Indian soil. The Indian team missed out on a chance to beat South Africa in the T20 series for the first time on home soil.
