About two months after announcing in China its new flagship X80 Pro, Vivo also made a European announcement and it will officially go on sale next month. As mentioned in the original announcement, the model launched in Europe is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

The X80 Pro definitely offers a high configuration. Beyond the powerful processor, there is also a huge 6.78-inch screen of the E5 AMOLED type with QHD + resolution and with a very modern refresh rate that dynamically ranges between 1 and 120 Hz. There is also a fingerprint sensor underneath which is supposed to be significantly larger than in the previous generation, the working memory stands at 12 GB, and the storage capacity is 256 GB.

The photo array is quite impressive on paper with a 32-megapixel selfie camera with Samsung’s S5KHD1 sensor, a main rear camera based on a 50-megapixel ISOCELL GNV sensor from Samsung with laser-based focus and optical image stabilizer, and a camera next to it Super-width with 48x megapixel IMX598 sensor. The third camera is a camera designed for portrait photography and is based on Sony’s IMC663 sensor with a size of 12 megapixels and is equipped with x2 zoom and optical image stabilization. And if that’s not enough, the fourth camera is equipped with an ‘only’ 8-megapixel sensor, but it is a telephoto camera that offers x5 zoom and also has an optical image stabilizer.

The battery has a working volume of 4,700 mAh and is charged with a maximum power of 80 watts in a wired connection, and a power of up to 50 watts in a wireless connection. There is also a cooling system, Hi-Fi chip, infrared sensor and also IP68 standard durability.

The device in Europe will be sold only in black glass, and according to the company its price will range from 1,100 euros to 1,300 euros in the various countries in the region – or in Hebrew, at least about 4,000 shekels in today’s terms.
