Who Laura Lebone? His musical career includes the two EPs of Marylebonecon Mario P. Recuero. It was 2016. Two years later, Laura assumed the role of vocalist and keyboardist in the third incarnation of Liquid detergentone of those Andalusian Indie-pop bands that few could choke on.
Well, Laura ventured out in 2023 with an EP titled Like the others. The work was recorded in Puerto de Santa María, in Submerged Recordingsand was produced by Ernie Rodriguez and Juan Antonio Mateos, of The Magic Mor. More collaborations: Alberto Rodway, from Liquid detergentJulián Arias on guitar, and Mario de Marylebone.
It consists of five songs, of which only two exceed three minutes, offering a complete and balanced musical experience. This album sounds familiar, recognizable, but avoids falling into clichés, bringing freshness to the music scene. Perhaps the most precious and difficult aspect of this Pop genre.

In Two Stories, a Balcony and a Window, the last song, presents two contrasting perspectives. It explores the passage of time, memories, and the search for meaning in everyday life. The song invites us to imagine the lives of others while ignoring our own crumbling reality. Like the others addresses the topic of pain and loneliness; the difficulty of forgetting and the feeling of being left behind. And despite everything, it doesn’t sound complex or sad.
