Students from the Language High School in Veliko Tarnovo received a laureate title and 5 excellent grades from the National Spanish Language Olympiad.

“Every year, the competition puts the PEG “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” on the starting line with the best Spanish high schools in Bulgaria. And this year’s results show that the successes over the years are constant and unequivocal,” boasted the school management.

12th-grader Petya Uzunova is a laureate of the National Olympiad in Spanish, organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture for the academic year 2023/2024. The decision on the names of those honored with the title is made by the national commission for conducting the Olympiad, formed by order of the Minister of Education and in compliance with the regulation for its conduct. Petya Uzunova’s work brought her 6.00. Excellent grades 5.50 and 5.75 were received by her classmates Magdalena Boneva and Lili Boyadzhieva, as well as eleventh graders Maria Ivanova and Elena Ivanova. Their language teachers are Snezhina Stefanova and Veneta Boteva. For Petya and Magdalena, this is another successful presentation at the prestigious forum. Already in 2022, they ranked first, and in 2023, Maggie was awarded the title of “laureate”.

28 national Spanish Olympiad prizes have brought gold to their school in the last 5 years. 11 of the graduates are laureates.
