Lene Retzius reached the Olympic final in pole ⁣vault, but the ‌Norwegian girl could not keep pace⁢ with the ⁤best. Retzius has a personal best of 4.70,​ which​ she set in ⁤2022, but her best result this season has⁣ been 4.61.

The Norwegian Olympian has opened up about‌ a difficult lead-up to the championship in Paris, ⁣as ​she lost‌ her coach Anatoly Gordienko in March. He passed ⁤away after a⁣ long illness, and the 28-year-old shared that they had been working towards the ​championship in Paris ⁤until the very end.
