A commanding performance by Jamilia Duffus and a strong all-around showing from claudia Lessig propelled the Alaska Anchorage (UAA) gymnastics team too a decisive 190.100-173.125 victory over Wilberforce on Sunday, January 25th, at the Alaska Airlines Centre. The Seawolves showcased exceptional skill and consistency, sweeping the podium in all four events.

UAA’s success was largely driven by Duffus, a junior representing Jamaica, who secured first place in three individual events. she achieved a score of 9.675 on vault, 9.775 on bars, and a career-best 9.675 on floor exercise. Her consistent performance underscored her importance to the team’s overall strategy.

“Our dismounts and landings were terrific today,” stated the UAA head coach.
