Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski shared his expectations for the Champions League quarter-final return match with Real Madrid.

“Last year, things were a little different. If anyone thinks I’ll score 4 goals again, it’s a little silly. But we still have a chance, even though it’s not a big one. We will play in Dortmund, where our team is always dangerous. We are preparing to dedicate ourselves on the pitch throughout the entire match, – Lewandowski’s words were quoted by the UEFA official website. – It was sad that I could not participate in the Madrid match. I watched the game at home and was more nervous than when I’m on the field. It was really hard and I hope to never miss a game of such importance again.

Madrid are in their best form now, and our team was completely different last year. Now there are many injured players, but “Borussia” still has great potential. There are other excellent players in our squad.

I knew I would add when I moved from Poznań to Dortmund. I trained persistently and always wanted to improve professionally. First I played in the Europa League and then in the Champions League. I spent 4 amazing seasons at Dortmund and I’m still performing here.”
