LIC, India’s largest life insurance company, has invested Rs 87,380 crore in Adani Group companies alone.
LIC has invested a maximum of Rs 24,100 crore in Adani Gas Company.
LIC has also invested Rs 18,400 crore in Adani Ports and Logistics.
LIC has invested Rs 18,100 crore in Adani Enterprises, Rs 12,600 crore in Adani Transmission, Rs 7,200 crore in Adani Cement, Rs 3,800 crore in Adani Renewables and Rs 2,900 crore in ACC.
LIC has invested heavily in the Adani group of companies as they have grown rapidly in the last 8 years.
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid, Sun Pharma, NTPC, Hindustan Unilever, Hindustan Aeronautics, Ultra Tech Cement, Siemens, Britannia, Bajaj Auto have taken out 20 thousand crores of investment in the last one quarter.
