Dunkerque announced on Wednesday that it had made “a report” to the Professional Football League (LFP) after one of its players, according to the USL, was targeted by racist insults uttered by a Bordeaux player during the Ligue 2 match between the two clubs on Tuesday.

“USL Dunkerque is deeply saddened and shocked by the racist insults uttered by one of the players of the opposing team against one of our players during the match against Bordeaux,” wrote the northern club in a press release. without either mentioning the names of the two men or specifying the comments made.
