Lily Allen Announces Nine-Date North American Tour Following ‘West End Girl’ Success
U.K. singer-songwriter Lily Allen will embark on a nine-city North American tour next spring, performing her critically acclaimed album West End Girl in its entirety. Tickets will be available for presale on December 10 and 11, with the general public sale beginning the following day.
Allen’s latest project, released by BMG, has garnered significant attention for its candid exploration of her personal experiences, including her recent separation from actor David Harbour. The album’s raw honesty has resonated with critics and audiences alike.
“It’s the pleasure of listening to a master storyteller who makes your jaw drop by seeming to have spilled all the tea almost at the outset, and then the tea just keeps on coming,” noted a reviewer from Variety. “Not since Boston in 1773, maybe, has anyone dumped it this massively, or this fulfillingly.”
The North American leg of Allen’s tour is strategically positioned between extensive touring plans in the U.K., which kicks off March 2 in Glasgow and culminates with a third performance at London’s O2 Arena on July 7. Before the North American dates, Allen is scheduled to appear on the December 13 episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Josh O’Connor, marking her first return to the show since 2007.
