Lim Hyung-joo Honored with ‘Poem Poem’ Cover Feature

Pop tenor Lim Hyung-joo is set to grace the cover of the 2026 New Year’s spring issue of the literary quarterly magazine ‘Poem Poem,’ his agency, DG Ncom, announced on February 13th. Beyond the cover appearance, Lim Hyung-joo will be the subject of a detailed “Zoom-in Interview” exploring his 29-year musical journey. The interview will delve into his pioneering work in establishing Seoul Popera House – Korea’s first popera theater – and his recent appointment as the inaugural chairman of the Yongsan Cultural Foundation.

Lim Hyung-joo’s recent visibility has been boosted by appearances on popular entertainment programs including EBS’ ‘Seo Jang-hoon’s Millionaire Next Door,’ KBS’ ‘100 People’s Emotional Show: The Signature,’ Channel A’s ‘Table for 4,’ and TV Chosun’s ‘Dad and Me 3.’ He is also scheduled to perform a spring recital at Yeongsan Art Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, on April 10th at 7:30 pm.

Lee Chan-won Announces Seoul Encore Concerts

Singer Lee Chan-won will extend his successful national tour, ‘Hymn: A Brilliant Day,’ with two encore performances at the KSPO Dome (Gymnastics Stadium) in Seoul Olympic Park on May 9th and 10th, according to organizer Daebak Planning. The encore follows a tour that saw Chan-won Lee perform in Seoul last December, followed by shows in Daegu, Incheon, Busan, Jinju, Gwangju, and Daejeon.

To enhance the concert experience, the Seoul encore will feature a protruding stage, bringing the artist closer to his audience. Fans can also anticipate performances of new material from his second full-length album, ‘Brilliant,’ released in October of last year.

Morning Musume’s Music Now Available on Global Streaming Platforms

Fans of the iconic Japanese girl group Morning Musume will soon have broader access to their extensive discography. Upfront Works and distributor Nexton announced on February 13th that 1,378 songs from seven groups, including Morning Musume, Anjurumu, and Juice Juice, will be available on global streaming services starting today.

The streaming rollout will include platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music. Notably, the music will not be available on domestic Korean platforms like Melon and Genie. Formed in 1997, Morning Musume is celebrated in Korea for hits like ‘Love Machine’ (LOVEマシ-ン) and ‘Love Revolution 21’ (恋愛レボリュ-ション21).

These developments collectively underscore the continued evolution and expansion of the East Asian entertainment industry, catering to both established fanbases and new audiences worldwide.
