Lipavský for Blesk: NATO ministers will meet in Prague

The foreign ministers of the North Atlantic Alliance countries will visit Prague for meetings next year. This was confirmed to the Lightning by the head of the Černín Palace, Jan Lipavský (37, Pirates). According to him, this is the most important NATO event on Czech territory since 2002, when the metropolis hosted the alliance summit.

Lipava is now at an informal meeting of NATO ministers in Oslo, Norway. Next year, however, the heads of diplomacy of the North Atlantic Alliance countries are to gather in Prague to see him. The minister agreed on this with the Secretary of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg (64).

“We can confirm that Prague will host the informal NATO ministry next spring. It will be the most important alliance event on our territory since the NATO summit in 2002. The location of the informal ministerial meeting in Prague is an expression of appreciation of the Czech Republic as an active and reliable ally,” said Lipavský for Blesk.

In 2002, a summit of heads of state and heads of government of NATO countries took place in Prague. At it, seven countries were invited to start initial talks with the Alliance. These were the Baltic countries, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. In addition, the disarmament of the then Iraqi dictator was also a key topic Saddam Hussein (†69), which the American president called for George W. Bush (76).
