“Little martyrdom of the A10”: the prosecution requires the referral of the parents to an assize court

by time news

The case had caused a considerable stir in France. On August 11, 1987, the body of little Inass, 4 years old, was found on Highway 10. For nearly thirty years, the deceased little girl could not be identified, before her identity was found in particular thanks to DNA samples taken from 2007. This Friday, the Blois prosecutor requested the referral to an assize court for aggravated murder and complicity in aggravated murder, of the girl’s parents, he announced on Friday .

“The public prosecutor considers that the investigation and then the judicial information made it possible to characterize and retain, at the expense of the two indicted, this crime which justifies a public and contradictory debate before the assize court of the department and for which life imprisonment is incurred, ”wrote prosecutor Frédéric Chevallier in a press release.

When the girl was identified, her parents had been placed in police custody and indicted for “murder of a fifteen-year-old minor, habitual violence against a fifteen-year-old minor and concealment of a corpse” before being imprisoned. The father had meanwhile been released in June 2019. If the mother claimed not to have given him more than slaps during his custody, a scientific expert carried out in September 2021 had made it possible to establish that the girl had suffered numerous injuries, which in particular resulted in bone lesions, “particularly on the upper limbs”.
