Mumbai: Bhavana Gawli, upset over not getting candidature from Yavatmal-Washim Lok Sabha constituency, on Saturday made it clear that she will campaign for party candidate Rajshree Patil. She will make every possible effort to achieve PM Narendra Modi’s target of crossing 400. In fact, Bhavana has been representing Yavatmal-Washim Lok Sabha constituency for the last 25 years. She used to contest elections from Shiv Sena. After the split in the party, she joined Shinde’s Shiv Sena.
Emotions changed after meeting Shinde
Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena canceled his ticket. In his place, the party nominated Rajshree Patil, which Bhavna initially opposed. She had announced that soon she would present her role in front of everyone. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had called her to Mumbai to meet her, but she was not coming. She reached the Chief Minister’s residence Varsha Bungalow with her supporters. There he had a meeting with Chief Minister Shinde, after which his tone changed.
