Belluno, Italy, December 22, 2025 – Lorenzo Burigo, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 21st, entering the “LIGHT of Christmas,” as family members described it. he was 75 years old.

Lorenzo Burigo, a resident of Belluno, Italy, died on December 21, 2025, at the age of 75. His death is being mourned by his wife, children, grandchildren, and the wider community. Burigo passed away peacefully, with his family noting the timing coincided with the beginning of the christmas season, describing his passing as entering the “LIGHT of Christmas.”
Burigo is survived by his wife, Daniela, and their children Carlo and Chiara, Anna and Giuseppe, and emmanuele and Georgia. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Giulia, giacomo, Angelica, Maddalena, Camilla, Daniele, and Matilde, as well as numerous other relatives. The family has expressed their deep sorrow and gratitude for the outpouring of support.
Family members will be receiving visitors at the Casa Funeraria De Dea Gelisio, located at via Sarajevo n. 1 in Belluno, on Monday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and again from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Visitations will also be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, December 23rd, at 11:00 AM at the Parish Church of Levego, followed by burial at the Levego cemetery.
