The flyweight division is heating up as the UFC prepares for its final event of 2025.Brandon Royval and Manel Kape will clash at UFC Fight Night in a bout with meaningful implications for the title picture.

A Title Shot Within Reach

The winner of Royval vs. Kape coudl be next in line to challenge for the flyweight championship.

This matchup is particularly critically important following joshua Van’s recent victory over Alexandre Pantoja last week, a result that saw Van claim the flyweight title. Royval, fresh off a win against Tatsuro Taira, is looking to rebound from a short-notice fight against Van. Kape, meanwhile, presents a new challenge in the division. Interestingly, Royval and Kape were previously scheduled to fight twice this year, but both bouts were canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.

UFC Fight Night: A Showcase of Talent

UFC Fight Night isn’t just about Royval and Kape. The card features the highly anticipated debut of Yaroslav Amosov, the former Bellator welterweight champion, against veteran Neil Magny. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legend Marcus Buchecha,a decorated IBJFF Hall of Famer, will also compete in his second UFC appearance, facing heavyweight knockout artist Kennedy Nzechukwu. The co-main event will see No. 15 ranked featherweight Giga Chikadze defend his position against Kevin Vallejos.
