Gayatri, a native of Kattakada, was found dead in a hotel room in Thampanoor, Thiruvananthapuram, police said. The murder was caused by a dispute over a love affair.
According to police, Praveen, who was present, confessed that he had strangled Gayatri to death. Praveen, who had passed away after the murder, was arrested by the police at Paravur in Kollam on Sunday afternoon.
