The Organization of the Americas for Educational Excellence (ODAEE), with the academic support of the Euro-American University of Panama, held the III INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON CULTURE OF PEACE from February 26 to 28, as an initiative to promote peace throughout the world, through new approaches to address the wave of conflicts and violence that is being experienced, with the purpose of building a more just and peaceful society.

The composer Luis Padilla Guevara, Master in intellectual property, participated with his conference “Copyright in times of Artificial Intelligence”, a topic he addresses in a soon-to-be published law book.

At the event that took place at the City of Knowledge Convention Center in Panama, several international exhibitors participated with their presentations in different fields of science, art, culture and education. The composer Luis Padilla Guevara, Master in intellectual property, participated with his conference “Copyright in times of Artificial Intelligence”, a topic that he addresses in a soon-to-be published law book.

On February 28, the closing day of the event, several personalities from different countries who, through their economic, social and cultural activities, have contributed to promoting the culture of peace were awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa. Among those invested by Ecuador was Mrs. Isabel Noboa Pontón for her outstanding business work; and Dr. Luis Padilla, for his brilliant career as an author and composer.

The ODAEE was created in Brazil in 2008. It currently has member institutions in 22 countries and an honorary headquarters in Frankfurt.
