“Did anyone get that?” he asked the crowd after getting back to his feet, as seen in footage captured of the incident. “It’s okay, hey, my lawyer will call.”

Despite the fall, Bryan seemed to be in a joking mood, joking around and even replaying the moment on the fan’s phone.

The moment was then replayed for “American Idol” fans.

One fan who was at the concert, Emily Nicole, told “Good Morning America” that other concertgoers were throwing phones, cowboy boots, cowboy hats, water bottles and more on stage.

“People wanted to sign their stuff,” said Nicole. “So they thought the best way to achieve that was to throw things on stage, which was not safe at all and was very disrespectful.”

This is hardly the first instance of artists dealing with fans throwing items on stage at concerts.

Last year, Bebe Rexha was punched in the face when a fan threw his phone at her during a show in New York City. Harry Styles was there too struck against by a flying object on stage in Vienna last July.

“Artists had a lot,” Kelley L. Carter, ABC News entertainment contributor and senior entertainment reporter at Andscape told “GMA.”

“So much remains to be seen about how events like this can transform the concert experience,” continued Carter. “I think it is certain that there will be a zero tolerance policy that will be implemented in the end.”
