Last week, the association discovered that it could no longer pay its invoices as the accounts were almost empty. The association promptly reported the incident to the police, and the responsible board member was removed from his position. Despite the setback, the association is determined to keep the shuttle running for the rest of the season. Currently, they’re running a Swish campaign and seeking help from their sponsors. According to the Chairperson, Ida Sjögren, the situation has been a nightmare, but she remains hopeful for the future. The association is grateful for the support they’ve received so far, although they still have a long way to go.

An article by Norr Media reveals that the board member in question is suspected of embezzling money from more than one association, including one in Luleå and several companies.
