Dubai: The organizers announced in a press conference that ‘Lulu Ponnonam’ organized under the auspices of Malayalee groups will be held at Dubai Al Nasser Lesherland on Sunday. In the morning, the festivities will start with the flower field competition of various groups.
More than 3000 people will participate in the Onasadya. In the afternoon, the procession celebrating Mahabali, which brings together Kerala folk and temple arts, will also feature Theiyam, Chendamelam, Panchavadyam, Kavadiyattam and Karakattam. Eminent personalities will participate and speak in the evening cultural gathering. In the subsequent mega stage show, movie star Manoj K. Around 20 artistes will perform under the leadership of Jayan.
Music director Gopi Sundar, singer Amrita Suresh, young singer Rituraj, Afzal, Akhila Anand, Vaishnav Girish, Lakshmi Jayan, Riyas Kariad, Meryl Ann Mathew, Sudhir Paravoor and Diana Hameed have prepared the song ensemble, dance performances and mime. The organizers have made it clear that the dances of the jazz rockers team have also been prepared.
