The Plaza Athénée hotel, the Crillon, the Lutetia, the Bristol… Prestigious names that make tourists from all over the world dream. These oases of luxury, highlighted in particular by the “Emily in Paris” series, attract a wealthy clientele from the United States, the Middle East and also Asia. And they are spoiled for choice, in the capital the offer is plentiful. According to the KPMG firm, there are no less than 103 5-star hotels, or 8,500 rooms – among the 400 hotels in this category in France (27,559 rooms) – to which must be added twelve palaces.
