At the end of a tense game at the Ramat Gan Stadium, Maccabi Tel Aviv Oz of Idan Biton qualified for the final of the Children’s Cup C this evening (Wednesday) after a dramatic 1:2 victory over Maccabi Petah Tikva North of Yarin Cohen. The Yellows will meet Maccabi FC “Chaim Handler” in the final. Both teams play in the Central District Children’s League C, with the Tel Avivites leading the table by a margin and without losses so far, while Petah Tikva North came to compete in the center of the table.
The game started with almost complete control of Maccabi Tel Aviv, unlike Maccabi Petah Tikva which looked a little hesitant, until it stabilized. In the ninth minute of the match, Maccabi Tel Aviv started an attack that ended with the feet of Itamar Ben Meir who made it 0:1. Until the 35th minute, the final whistle, Maccabi Tel Aviv continued to push Petah Tikva to Assaf Weiss’s square, in an opportunity that chased an opportunity but without another decision.

In the fourth round, Bar Cohen’s students traveled to Givat Haim, where they met Maccabi Emek Hefer and beat them 2:7. In the round of 16, Petah Tikva hosted Hapoel Be’er Sheva and beat it 2: 3. In the quarter finals it passed Hapoel Ramat Gan with a 6:0 victory.
