Another plot twist? Maccabi Tel Aviv has sent a new offer to Pisa regarding Yonatan Cohen and is waiting for an answer from the Italians as to whether they accept it or if the deal falls through for good. On the player’s side, who were very pessimistic, they are now exerting final pressure to complete the deal: “If Pisa agrees, we will have a quick negotiation on Jonathan’s terms and there is no reason why he should not get on a plane tomorrow. As a reminder, as published in ONE three days ago, the parties were stuck on differences that according to Maccabi Tel Aviv are much higher than 100 thousand euros, which are the differences that the Italians are careful to point out exist between the parties.
In some of the last days there was a complete disconnection between the clubs. Moreover, until this moment, Maccabi Tel Aviv has not even started negotiations with Yonatan Cohen on his salary terms, so even if an agreement is reached with Pisa during the day (Tuesday), the parties will still have to conduct a quick negotiation to close the player’s terms .
It may be that from this point of view the parties will say that the framework is more or less known and it will be more convenient to conclude with Cohen than to conclude with Pisa, but the facts are clear – Maccabi Tel Aviv has no conclusion neither here nor here for the time being.
It should be noted that if the Cohen deal is not closed between the teams during the day and tomorrow falls definitively, Pisa will have to pay 1.1 million euros to Maccabi Tel Aviv in four days for the player, after having paid the first payment last season in the exact same amount.
