Pennsylvania Drivers Shine

Macri’s win marked the third time a driver from Pennsylvania claimed the prestigious King’s Royal crown. Fellow Keystone State racers Ryan Smith and Danny Dietrich also landed in the top 10. This victory represents the richest of Macri’s career, placing him among an elite group of sprint car drivers who have won races with a purse of at least $200,000. It was also Macri’s inaugural win at the historic Eldora Speedway.

Rico Abreu, who won a race the previous night, narrowly missed a storybook weekend. Abreu had climbed to second place and was closing in on Macri, but his car slowed in the closing laps.

In other weekend events, Kyle Larson captured the Jokers Jackpot race, while Aaron Reutzel and Corey Day claimed victories in the Double Down Duels.
