2017 ISRO Scientist Nambi Narayanan Adapts His Biography Rocketry – The Nambi Effect! Actor Madhavan has started pre-production work for the film (Rocketry – The Nambi Effect). ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan was arrested by the Kerala Police in 1994 for allegedly selling cryogenic engine technology overseas. Many years later, the Supreme Court acquitted Nambi Narayanan in this case.
Release
Filming for the film began in January 2019. The film is directed by actor Madhavane. This is the first film he has directed. The film is produced in four languages namely Tamil, English, Telugu and Hindi. Translated into Malayalam and Kannada .. Postponed after the release date was announced on April 1st this year. The film is currently set to release on July 1.
International Promotion
The film was screened at the recent Cannes Film Festival. Similarly, Madhavan released the trailer of the film in Times Square, USA. Surya’s recent speech at a press conference in Chennai drew attention. Madhavan had earlier announced that actors Surya and Shahrukh Khan will play the lead roles in the film.
