Madurai AIIMS Hospital will have 750 beds and the construction of the college and dormitory will be completed in two years, said its director Anumantha Rao.
He told reporters in Ramanathapuram that a perimeter wall was being built for the 200-acre AIIMS hospital in Toppur, Madurai district.
He said 750 beds would be provided at the AIIMS Hospital in Madurai and the cancer would be treated by specialists. He said it would take two years to complete the construction of the dormitory buildings at Ames Medical College in Toppur.
