The weak magnetic storm that was caused by the solar flare is over. This is evidenced by the data of the Laboratory of X-ray Astronomy of the Sun of the Physics Institute of the Academy of Sciences.

“Over the past three hours, the state of the magnetosphere has been calm,” the laboratory reported on the evening of October 31.

Earlier, from about 15:00 to 18:00 Moscow time, experts recorded a weak magnetic storm. Fixation occurs every three hours. From 18:00 to 21:00 the state of the magnetosphere was calm.

A strong Category X solar flare occurred on the evening of October 28. They made it to Earth on October 30th. Perhaps this is the largest burst of activity on the star in recent years, writes RIAMO.

On November 1 and 2, the planet’s magnetosphere will be calm. The probability of a magnetic storm on November 1 is 10%, on November 2 – 1%.

On October 31, experts recorded a magnetic storm (weak, level G1) in the Earth’s magnetosphere.

Experts have previously warned that solar activity can provoke false alarms for the protection of energy systems, and spacecraft, in turn, will accumulate a surface charge, the Zvezda TV channel notes. Also, interruptions in satellite navigation, problems of low-frequency radio navigation and failures of high-frequency radio communications were not ruled out, Ridus reports.
