Indian SUV manufacturer Mahindra has unveiled its BE Rall-E electric concept model at the Formula E Hyderabad E-Prix event. It also introduced the XUV.e9 and BE.05 EV concepts to Indian consumers. Production of both the cars is likely to begin this decade itself.

The Mahindra BE Rall-E Electric Concept is the latest model from Mahindra’s Born Electric division. This car has a barn electric streamlined design. However, it is developing as an off-road model. This model has a split headlamp design.

It also gets a silver bash plate, slightly thicker wheel arches, aero wheels and Maxis all-terrain tyres. It has a roof rack with a spare wheel. At the rear, it gets slimmer tail lights, a thicker bumper and a bash plate. Like other Born Electric models, the BE Rall-E concept model is built on the IN-GLO Skateboard EV platform. No battery details of this car have been announced yet.

Mahindra has also showcased the XUV.e9 electric SUV for the first time in India. After its launch in London last year, this car has now been launched in India. The XUV.e9 will be the flagship model of Mahindra’s new XUV.e series.

The front of the car is covered with LED DRLs on this electric SUV. Its headlamps are mounted vertically on the front bumper. Along with this, plastic cladding is seen on the front, sides and rear. There are also copper accents around the car.

Following the two cars, Mahindra also launched the BE.05 electric SUV. The car measures 4370mm in length, 1900mm in width, 1635mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2775mm. Expect this car to be launched by the end of 2025. This car is also built on the IN-GLO platform. It can be supplied with 60 or 80 kWh battery.
