The eagerly anticipated Mahindra XUV 300 Baselift is set to hit the Indian market in February 2024. The new model, which was released in September 2023, has been met with great enthusiasm, and the company is hoping to make a strong comeback in the competitive sub 4-meter SUV segment.

The new XUV 300 Baselift comes with a range of innovative design and style features, drawing inspiration from the popular XUV 700. The front end has been completely redesigned, with new headlamps, curved fog lamps, and C-type LED DRLs. The rear of the car has also received a fresh design, with wrap tail lights, LED features, and new alloy wheels.

In terms of special facilities, the XUV 300 Baselift will be equipped with the first fully panoramic sunroof in the sub-4 meter SUV segment, as well as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 6 airbags. However, it is worth noting that the car does not include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) safety features or a 360-degree camera system.

Under the hood, the XUV 300 Baselift will be powered by a 1.5 liter diesel engine with 115 BHP of power, a 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol engine with 128 BHP of power, and a 1.2 liter turbocharged m Stallion petrol engine with 109 BHP of power. The car will also come with the option of a torque converter automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual gearbox.

As for pricing, the current XUV 300 model is available starting at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to Rs 14.76 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Baselift model is expected to be priced at around Rs 50,000 higher than this.

The launch of the XUV 300 Baselift will also coincide with the launch of the XUV 400 EV in January 2024, marking an exciting period for Mahindra in the Indian automotive market. With innovative features and a fresh design, the company is hoping to regain its competitive edge in the sub 4-meter SUV segment, currently dominated by the Tata Nexon. Car enthusiasts and industry experts alike are eagerly anticipating the arrival of these new models, which are expected to set a new standard in the Indian SUV market.
