However, in the Ottawa doubles, Satviksairaj / Chirac Shetty advanced to the next round, beating Malaysia’s Man Wei Song / Kai Wun Di 21-18, 21-11.
In the women’s doubles, Aswini Ponnappa / Sikki Reddy lost 15-21, 11-21 to Japan’s Nami Matsumaya / Siharu Shida. In the same category, Hashita Harinarayanan / Ashna Roy and Venkat Gaurav Prasad / Juhi Devangan lost in mixed doubles.
