Mamata not attending Netaji’s statue unveiling ceremony; Mamata on Netaji statue unveiling, allegation that she was not properly invited

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has left Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s statue unveiling ceremony, alleging that she was not properly invited. He received a letter from the Under Secretary informing him about the function. Mamata also asked who is the under secretary to invite the chief minister.

Mamata alleged that they treated her like a maid. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the huge statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose built near India Gate. The Prime Minister unveiled a 28 feet tall statue.

The Prime Minister inaugurated Karthavipath at India Gate as part of the Central Vista Development Project. The Prime Minister had earlier stated that the Rajpath has become a duty path as part of bidding farewell to the remnants of the colonial past.
