Karachi: Karachi police have arrested a man in connection with the stabbing of a temple in Pakistan. The accused entered the temple last evening and smashed the idol of the Hindu god Jog Maya with a hammer. The accused was arrested by the locals and handed over to the police. Police said that a case has been registered against the accused under sections related to blasphemy.
Meanwhile, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa came out in response to the incident. ‘Another Hindu temple has been demolished. This is state-sponsored terrorism against Pakistan’s minorities, “said Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Twitter.

Last October, the Hanuman Temple in Sindh province was also vandalized by an unidentified group of thieves. Tens of thousands of rupees worth of jewelery and money in the vow box were stolen that day.
