Rovereto Police Attack: Man Arrested After Assaulting Officers
A chaotic scene unfolded in Rovereto, Italy, on December 27th, culminating in the arrest of a man who allegedly attacked police officers after initially refusing identification. On Saturday evening, residents of Rovereto contacted authorities to report disruptive behavior occurring along the streets of the city’s western outskirts. Police responded swiftly,dispatching a patrol unit to investigate the reports of “annoying people” in the area.
During a routine check, officers attempted to obtain identification from a male suspect.According to reports, the man initially refused to cooperate and afterward launched an assault on the officers, employing physical violence including punching, kicking, and spitting.

Reinforcements arrived on the scene, and with the assistance of capsicum spray, officers were able to subdue and detain the individual. The suspect was then transported to the local police barracks.
